DUTCH PASSION – DESFRÁN

Desfrán is a legendary strain in South America, multiple winner of numerous cannabis awards.
Desfrán is the result of a cross between Destroyer and Destroyer; it was originally a triple crossing of Oaxaca (Mexico), Punto Rojo (Colombia) and Meao Thai, and came to Dutch Passion through Alberto from Argentina.
Alberto, master grower and true cannabis connoisseur, is the owner of Haze Magazine; the first collaboration project between Alberto and Dutch Passion was the introduction of Desfrán in Europe.

During the vegetative phase, Desfrán requires little nutrition. It grows well in the ground, especially when there is plenty of room for the roots, but it also grows vigorously with other cultivation methods.
Desfrán is 100% Sativa, so she can reach a considerable height, developing long branches that quickly dominate the grow room. In this phase, the stem, if rubbed, releases an intense fruity aroma.

During the flowering period, the plant stretches and can triple in height. Desfrán is a very resinous variety suitable for SOG and SCROG growing methods and usually takes 9-10 weeks to flower.
Desfrán has a fruity aroma of pear and green apple; the taste is reminiscent of caramelized pear with notes of grapes and melon.

For a Sativa, Desfrán produces particularly dense and compact flowers. Once dried, the flowers have the appearance of glazed pine cones.
An early harvest can result in a cerebral and psychedelic high, while when Desfrán is harvested later it tastes sweeter and is a real destroyer.
