BANANA KUSH CAKE FEM
Banana Kush Cake Feminized (65% indica and 35% sativa) has different phenotypic variants and, developed as part of the Sensi Seeds Research 2021 project, is one of the most genetically interesting strains. Made from Banana Kush and Wedding Cheesecake, two strains with truly extraordinary genetics, it grows to medium heights and produces a fruity and pungent aroma. The effect is powerful, calming and dreamlike, with a hint of euphoria, like a true sativa.
Cultivation
Banana Kush Cake Feminized seeds (65% indica and 35% sativa) produce a range of phenotypic variants: in other words you will notice slight physical differences between the plants, a characteristic that makes this variety ideal for those who appreciate diversity.
The two progenitors are Wedding Cheesecake and Banana Kush, both of which are popular all over the world. In this case it is the feminized variant, easier to grow because the seeds do not produce male plants. Flowering of female plants takes on average about seven to nine weeks, although some variations are possible.
The 65% indica dominance generically makes the cultivated specimens compact: an undoubted advantage for those who want to keep them away from prying eyes. Even though these plants are small, you can be sure of prodigious returns – music to the ears of cannabis growers.
A particularly attractive feature of this variety is the color of the calyxes, which often feature pink and orange pistils as they grow.
For best results, it is recommended to grow this variety in temperate or continental climates, or even indoors, under artificial light.
Effect, taste and smell
Banana Kush Cake Feminized produces the characteristic effect of indica plants: you will notice a deep sense of relaxation combined with a hint of euphoria due to the sativa influence.
The aroma of the plants is often strong and pungent, with a distinctive note of banana. However, despite the skunk lineage, the smell never becomes excessive; this makes it an excellent choice for those who want to grow cannabis without attracting too much attention.
The hint of humidity and fruity notes intensify with the growth of the specimens. The same notes are found in the taste, combined with hints of pepper, cane sugar, citrus and acrid smoke.
