This popular indica-dominant strain comes in a dense, compact form and has a calming effect. The precise origin of OG Kush is unknown, although experts assume, almost unanimously, that it is a cross between Lemon Thai, Chemdawg and a Pakistani Kush. The origin of the name is also unknown; it is commonly believed that the abbreviation OG stands for “Ocean Grown”, or “Original Grower”, although many use it today as an acronym for “Original Gangster”. She is an easy to grow autoflowering strain and grows well in temperate or continental climates.
The White Label OG Kush Autoflowering strain is 75% indica and 25% sativa. The genetic heritage from which it derives is extraordinary and makes it particularly sought after among those who want the best of the new Kush family.
The indica dominance is manifestly revealed as the specimens mature: they are compact, bushy and squat in shape. Similarly, the effects are the classic ones of indica: a soothing and calming physical relaxation, with a hint of euphoria attributable to the sativa side.
An autoflowering variant of OG Kush, she is an ideal choice for novice growers as she is easy to grow. Flowering time is 70-80 days (relatively long for an autoflower, but it’s worth the wait).
Plants rarely reach dizzying heights, so it is easy to grow them discreetly outdoors. A growth of up to 80 cm, if grown indoors, or up to 180 cm, if planted outdoors directly in the ground, can usually be expected. The appearance is bushy and very branched, with a large number of fan leaves.
For an autoflowering strain, OG Kush has a relatively generous yield. Inside it is possible to obtain up to 400-450 grams per square meter, while outside, the typical harvest is around 50-170 grams per plant. The buds are pleasing to the eye: large, heavy and wrapped in shimmering resin, with a distinctive lemon green color. For best results, we recommend growing it indoors under artificial light, or outdoors in temperate or continental climatic conditions.
OG Kush Autoflowering is an indica-dominant variety, as can be seen from the effects it causes: a calm and total relaxation throughout the body, so much so as to limit the consumer in movement. The 25% sativa genetics are visible from the initial euphoric boost and citrus scent that the specimens take as they grow.
The aroma contains spicy and lemon notes (typical characteristics of sativas), although it can also be perceived an aroma of moist earth and musk (from the indica origin). This smell becomes more and more intense as the plants mature: it must be kept in mind if you want to cultivate them while maintaining a certain level of discretion.
Similarly, OG Kush has a lemon flavor with pleasant notes of oil and pepper.
